Hello! My name is Andrea Hughes, the founder of Creative Strands. I was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. I am the spouse of a United States Army Retiree and have three children. I attended the University of Phoenix and hold both a Bachelors in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration. At the age of 26, I started making wigs for myself but, never believed I would grow it into a prosperous business. I loved creating wigs and styles, and have been for the past 12 years. After a great deal of hard work, time, dedication and encouragement from supporters, Creative Strands was formed.

At Creative Strands, we specialize in authentic Virgin hair extensions, and custom made wigs. All wigs are customized for each individual, handcrafted, and stitched of high quality on a sewing machine. Wigs can be produced from hair extensions already purchased or customers have the option to purchase them from Creative Strands. In addition to providing products to the public, I am also a contracted vendor for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) in the state of South Carolina. I am blessed to be able to provide hair extension and wig services to Disabled Veterans, Veterans, and members of the Armed Forces.
